Stag Nights and Weekends in WR14

Stag Weekends - the greatest invention of the 21st Century

WR14 WEEKENDS

It's now pretty common for a WR14 stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! And there's been a massive growth in the stag weekend industry with various companies taking the "hassle" out of the stag do . But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.

STAG WEEKEND IDEAS

Since you're on our site we assume you need to think about the stag weekend. That's going to include everything from setting the date and location, organising the activities and entertainment, and of course keeping the groom somewhere between sober and hammered. Our site will help you think through the weekend and give you tips on all the things to think about for the WR14 stag do.

A sober stag is like a car with no petrol

There are so many great things to do on a stag weekend, including Horse riding, Horse racing, Indoor skydiving and 5 a side football. If you're planning a stag weekend for the groom, make sure you know what he likes, and more importantly doesnt like. Sky diving might be great fun for you, but if you suddenly discover the groom has a pathalogical fear of heights...

Not all of these are available in WR14 so you may want to consider other locations. No such thing as a sober stag

Get ready for a great WR14 stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!

And then it's time to get the boys heads ready for the fun that's going to follow. It's a very long tradition to get the stag completely hammered, but please make sure you drink responsibly - no-one likes to throw up and accidents can happen when there's too much booze on the go.

And these days many best men like to end the evening in one of the local areas lap dancing clubs. You'll be surprised how many of those are around when you start looking.

What goes on tour, stays on tour...

TOP STAG WEEKEND TIPS

Here are some top tips for planning and running your WR14 stag weekend or stag party.

STAG DO HINTS

Picking the date. Its obviously essential that the groom is available, but also take a look at the outside world. Is there a major sporting event happening that some of the guests will really want to see? This may be a good thing of course - a bunch of mates crowded round the TV with a few beers, watching the FA Cup Final can be a great laugh and focus for the weekend. And of course, make sure that there's enough time between stag and wedding for your best friend to recover!

And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.

TRAVELLING STAG

It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal.  And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than WR14!

We have a long list of fun things to do on a WR14 stag weekend and hopefully you've started to think about fun ways to cause embarrassment for the main man, together with some fun games to play and silly costumes for your big weekend in WR14.

BEST MAN ADVICE

Whatever the scale of your event, from a close group of friends to an all our party experience in WR14 with a no-holds-barred attitude to everything fun you can think of, maybe you now have some fuel for the ideas.

If you're thinking of a little wilder experience you might want to try places like Talin, Budapest or Prague - they have lots to offer and are pretty good value.

Oh, and one more thing. Please remember to drink responsibly.
