Stag Nights and Weekends in TR20

What goes on tour, stays on tour

TR20 WEEKENDS

It's now pretty common for a TR20 stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! And there's been a massive growth in the stag weekend industry with various companies taking the "hassle" out of the stag do . But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.

STAG WEEKEND IDEAS

Since you're on our site we assume you need to think about the stag weekend. That's going to include everything from setting the date and location, organising the activities and entertainment, and of course keeping the groom somewhere between sober and hammered. Our site will help you think through the weekend and give you tips on all the things to think about for the TR20 stag do.

Nothing is more perfect than a stag weekend with your best mates

There are so many great things to do on a stag weekend, including Drive a supercar, Fishing, tennis, golf and kayaking. If you're planning a stag weekend for the groom, make sure you know what he likes, and more importantly doesnt like. Sky diving might be great fun for you, but if you suddenly discover the groom has a pathalogical fear of heights...

Not all of these are available in TR20 so you may want to consider other locations. A sober stag is like a car with no petrol

Get ready for a great TR20 stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!

The fun should absolutely not stop after the day activities, those are just the warm up act! It's a very long tradition to get the stag completely hammered, but please make sure you drink responsibly - no-one likes to throw up and accidents can happen when there's too much booze on the go.

Other ideas include visiting a comedy club, and of course in most major cities you can now also find a strip club - and they are often able to set up special moments for the stag!

The key ingredients are the stag, best man, alcohol, fun and some girls

TOP STAG WEEKEND TIPS

Here are some top tips for planning and running your TR20 stag weekend or stag party.

STAG DO HINTS

If you're organising quite a few people, and you're sensibly planning well in advance, it can be hard to get firm commitments from people. It's a really good idea to give an estimation of costs upfront. If the weekend is going to cost a fair bit, you need to know whether you'll end up excluding some people. And if you are getting the guests to make their own bookings (flight, hotel, etc) then make sure you keep reminding them to get on with it.

And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.

TRAVELLING STAG

It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal.  And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than TR20!

The fun should just never stop on a TR20 stag weekend and hopefully you've started to think about fun ways to cause embarrassment for the main man, together with some fun games to play and silly costumes for your big weekend in TR20.

BEST MAN ADVICE

It doesn't matter if you want a quieter and more refined evening or a big big big night out with everyone you've ever met in TR20 with all the trimmings including strippers, lap dancing and night clubbing - we hope we've helped a little.

If you're thinking of a little wilder experience you might want to try places like Talin, Budapest or Prague - they have lots to offer and are pretty good value.

Oh, and one more thing. Make sure you take care of the groom-to-be.
