There are so many
great things to do on a stag weekend, including
clay pigeon shooting, Coasteering, Day at the races, and swimming.
Sometimes the best man just likes to organise the activity alone, and create a huge surprise for everyone, but we recommend involving the whole group, if for nothing more than ensuring people bring the right clothing!
Not all of these are
available in NP4 so you may want to consider other locations. Nothing is more perfect than a stag weekend with your best mates

Here are some top tips for planning and running your NP4 stag weekend or stag party. If you're organising quite a few people, and you're sensibly planning well in advance, it can be hard to get firm commitments from people. It's a really good idea to give an estimation of costs upfront. If the weekend is going to cost a fair bit, you need to know whether you'll end up excluding some people. And if you are getting the guests to make their own bookings (flight, hotel, etc) then make sure you keep reminding them to get on with it. And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening. It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal. And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than NP4! |
