The key ingredients are the stag, best man, alcohol, fun and some girls

There are so many great things to do on a stag weekend, including Kayaking or canoeing, Off roading, snowboarding, and orienterring. If you're planning a stag weekend for the groom, make sure you know what he likes, and more importantly doesnt like. Sky diving might be great fun for you, but if you suddenly discover the groom has a pathalogical fear of heights...

Not all of these are available in L3 so you may want to consider other locations. What goes on tour, stays on tour...

TOP STAG WEEKEND TIPS

Here are some top tips for planning and running your L3 stag weekend or stag party.

STAG DO HINTS

Special considerations. It's common sense to consider what the stag likes and doesn't like, but not always so obvious to think about the rest of the guests. Ages, dietary needs, mobility needs and even just broad-mindedness all needs to be considered. Oh, and of course if little brother or father-in-law are attending, that may have a huge impact on the types of activity you choose.

And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.

TRAVELLING STAG

It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal.  And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than L3!

There's no end of great fun to be had on a L3 stag weekend and hopefully you've started to think about fun ways to cause embarrassment for the main man, together with some fun games to play and silly costumes for your big weekend in L3.

BEST MAN ADVICE

It doesn't matter if you want a quieter and more refined evening or a big big big night out with everyone you've ever met in L3 with a no-holds-barred attitude to everything fun you can think of, maybe you now have some fuel for the ideas.

If you're thinking of a little wilder experience you might want to try places like Talin, Budapest or Prague - they have lots to offer and are pretty good value.

Oh, and one more thing. Make sure you take care of the groom-to-be.
