The last chance to party before the big day
It's now pretty common for a Kelty stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! And there's been a massive growth in the stag weekend industry with various companies taking the "hassle" out of the stag do . But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.
Since you're on our site we assume you need to think about the stag weekend. That's going to include everything from setting the date and location, organising the activities and entertainment, and of course keeping the groom somewhere between sober and hammered. This site focuses on the best ideas for things to do as well as things to buy to liven up the Kelty stag do.
There are so many
great things to do on a stag weekend, including
Drive a supercar, Fishing, tennis, golf and kayaking.
If you're planning a stag weekend for the groom, make sure you know what he likes, and more importantly doesnt like. Sky diving might be great fun for you, but if you suddenly discover the groom has a pathalogical fear of heights...
Not all of these are available in Kelty so you may want to consider other locations. No such thing as a sober stag
Get ready for a great Kelty stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!
And then it's time to get the boys heads ready for the fun that's going to follow. It's a very long tradition to get the stag completely hammered, but please make sure you drink responsibly - no-one likes to throw up and accidents can happen when there's too much booze on the go.
But of course there other options from taking in a little bit of comedy, sitting down and actually eating a decent meal (!!!) and of course the almost compulsory strip club.
Think about the little things, such as cameras with batteries. Yes, it's easy to use camera phones, but it's also very easy to start emailing inappropriate photos around when the beer is flowing. Also make sure that there's a good breakfast planned, and that any driving happens in the afternoon not the morning - since there's likely to be plenty of alcohol left in everyone's body!
And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.
It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal. And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than Kelty!
