Stag Nights and Weekends in EH1

Stag Weekends - the greatest invention of the 21st Century

EH1 WEEKENDS

It's now pretty common for a EH1 stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! And we've seen more and more companies enter the stag weekend market, focused on making life easier for the best man . But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.

STAG WEEKEND IDEAS

Since you're on our site we assume you need to think about the stag weekend. That's going to include everything from setting the date and location, organising the activities and entertainment, and of course keeping the groom somewhere between sober and hammered. Our site will help you think through the weekend and give you tips on all the things to think about for the EH1 stag do.

A sober stag is like a car with no petrol

There are so many great things to do on a stag weekend, including a football trip, Go-karting, Golf, roller disco and sphering. If you're planning a stag weekend for the groom, make sure you know what he likes, and more importantly doesnt like. Sky diving might be great fun for you, but if you suddenly discover the groom has a pathalogical fear of heights...

Not all of these are available in EH1 so you may want to consider other locations. The most dangerous food a man can eat is wedding cake

Get ready for a great EH1 stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!

And then it's time to get the boys heads ready for the fun that's going to follow. Traditionally the stag would be paraded around a selection of local pubs and the best bars, followed by a small amount of food and a then on to a night club.

Other ideas include visiting a comedy club, and of course in most major cities you can now also find a strip club - and they are often able to set up special moments for the stag!

TOP STAG WEEKEND TIPS

Here are some top tips for planning and running your EH1 stag weekend or stag party.

STAG DO HINTS

Think about the little things, such as cameras with batteries. Yes, it's easy to use camera phones, but it's also very easy to start emailing inappropriate photos around when the beer is flowing. Also make sure that there's a good breakfast planned, and that any driving happens in the afternoon not the morning - since there's likely to be plenty of alcohol left in everyone's body!

And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.

TRAVELLING STAG

It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal.  And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than EH1!

There's no end of great fun to be had on a EH1 stag weekend including a few quick and easy games to play along the way (alongside a few standard drinking games), good ideas for fancy dress and of course some embarrassing stories - all important factors for your great stag break in EH1.
