The last chance to party before the big day
It's now pretty common for a Camber stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! To take advantage in this rise in popularity, there are now many stag busineses dedicated to making things easier for the best man. But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.
Since you're on our site we assume you need to think about the stag weekend. That's going to include everything from setting the date and location, organising the activities and entertainment, and of course keeping the groom somewhere between sober and hammered. This site focuses on the best ideas for things to do as well as things to buy to liven up the Camber stag do.
There are so many
great things to do on a stag weekend, including
Drive a supercar, Fishing, tennis, golf and kayaking.
Sometimes the best man just likes to organise the activity alone, and create a huge surprise for everyone, but we recommend involving the whole group, if for nothing more than ensuring people bring the right clothing!
Not all of these are available in Camber so you may want to consider other locations. No such thing as a sober stag
Get ready for a great Camber stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!
The fun should absolutely not stop after the day activities, those are just the warm up act!
Traditionally the stag would be paraded around a selection of local pubs and the best bars, followed by a small amount of food and a then on to a night club.
And these days many best men like to end the evening in one of the local areas lap dancing clubs. You'll be surprised how many of those are around when you start looking.
Picking the date. Its obviously essential that the groom is available, but also take a look at the outside world. Is there a major sporting event happening that some of the guests will really want to see? This may be a good thing of course - a bunch of mates crowded round the TV with a few beers, watching the FA Cup Final can be a great laugh and focus for the weekend. And of course, make sure that there's enough time between stag and wedding for your best friend to recover!
And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.
It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal. And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than Camber!
