Get ready for the night of your life
It's now pretty common for a Billinghay stag party to last for more than one evening, hence the increase of stag weekends. It seems as if the event gets longer and longer with every new generation! There's been a sharp increase in the number of companies setting up to help the best man plan the perfect stag weekend . But obviously they will charge a premium for arranging it all.
If you're looking for stag weekend ideas, you need to think about the location, what the stag might have to wear (fancy dress makes it all the funnier), and of course the activities - not just the fun and games, but also the food and drink. Our site will help you think through the weekend and give you tips on all the things to think about for the Billinghay stag do.
There are so many
great things to do on a stag weekend, including
a football trip, Go-karting, Golf, roller disco and sphering.
Sometimes the best man just likes to organise the activity alone, and create a huge surprise for everyone, but we recommend involving the whole group, if for nothing more than ensuring people bring the right clothing!
Not all of these are available in Billinghay so you may want to consider other locations. Nothing is more perfect than a stag weekend with your best mates
Get ready for a great Billinghay stag weekend, or at least a brilliant night!
The fun should absolutely not stop after the day activities, those are just the warm up act!
Traditionally the stag would be paraded around a selection of local pubs and the best bars, followed by a small amount of food and a then on to a night club.
Other ideas include visiting a comedy club, and of course in most major cities you can now also find a strip club - and they are often able to set up special moments for the stag!
Picking the date. Its obviously essential that the groom is available, but also take a look at the outside world. Is there a major sporting event happening that some of the guests will really want to see? This may be a good thing of course - a bunch of mates crowded round the TV with a few beers, watching the FA Cup Final can be a great laugh and focus for the weekend. And of course, make sure that there's enough time between stag and wedding for your best friend to recover!
And please please please make sure that you and the other guests know that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about the specifics of the stag at any point during the wedding, even if you're certain no-one else is listening.
It wasn't long ago that a stag weekend outside of the UK was seen as incredibly unusual, but with the arrival of cheap international flights (as well as the Eurostar) it's almost normal. And there are certainly some unusual stag weekends possible, further away than Billinghay!
